Homeless people are cleared and displaced from public areas by the Public Order Office and their belongings are treated like rubbish. The districts are legally bound to provide a roof over these persons’ heads. However, they do not comply with their legal obligation to accommodation. For the deaths of the people that froze to death on the streets of Berlin, these politics are co-responsible.
